Daniel 2, the dream of a king

5. What was the dream about? Daniel 2:20, 21,27, 28. The dream was about the removing and setting up of kings, or nations, from Nebuchadnezzar’s time all the way down to the “latter days”, or last days.

8. What did the breast and arms of silver represent? The Medes and the Persians were the next kingdom or nation. Notice these are two nations joining together as one. How fitting it is that God represented it as two arms joining together at the breast. The Medes and the Persians ruled from 538 BC- 331 BC.

9. What did the brass symbolize? Dan. 8:20, 21. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________  

Grecia or Greece, was the next kingdom ornation. Notice that God represented it as brass, well before this nation existed. History tells us that brass was used extensively by the Grecians in their shields and swords. Greece ruled from 331 BC- 168 BC.

10. What empire followed Grecia? Dan. 2:40, 8:23-25, Luke 2:1-4. The Empire of Rome. 11. What change was to come to the kingdom of iron? Dan. 2:41, 42.
